In this hands on workshop you’ll have the opportunity to make a ceremonial art piece weaving textiles that have/had meaning as we share in a recognition of the complex grief and gratitude that accompanies the significant endings in life. Using traditional techniques from spiritual teachings and art therapy disciplines, this is a chance to acknowledge and honor what was and embrace what is to be:
Loss of a loved one
End of a relationship
Shift of identity
Materials to bring -
Fabric that you are ready to tear/cut and reuse in an art piece
Small trinkets/buttons/jewelry that might adorn your creation
Journal or notebook
Loom and yarn/fabric to enhance your piece will be provided - snacks and beverages, too.
12/7/25, 11-1pm. Address provided upon registration.
